A special feature of the I-series is the multi-row arrangement of disk working bodies on individual shock-absorbing struts. This design allows you to work in difficult field conditions, such as high wetness, large and badly distributed crop residues. The Salford I-Series turbo cultivator was created in close contact with practical farmers. The work of the tools does not disrupt the natural processes occurring in the soil, but only contributes to their acceleration and improvement.

Multi-row placement of disc knives on individual racks of the tubocultivator allows you to process a large mass of crop residues at high speed without clogging, even in waterlogged conditions.
When working with crop residues correctly the influence on factors limiting productivity increases. The soil must receive nutrients naturally, and such nutrients are contained in plant residues from previous crops.
Crop residues, including the root system, must remain in the field to become an important part in the preservation and further development of life processes. Soil microorganisms feed on these residues and break them down into essential nutrients that will be used by the next generation of plants. 90% of these microorganisms live in the top 5 cm layer of soil.
By destroying crop residues, we doom soil microorganisms to starvation and practically guarantee the return of the resulting profit back to the ground in the form of costs for mineral fertilizers.
Well-ventilated soil and high levels of organic matter maximize soil moisture retention. Incorporation of crop residues into the top layer of soil significantly increases the organic matter content and increases the soil's ability to accumulate moisture.

The I-2200 integrates the Coil-Tech Coulter II independent fastening system from the I-2100 with the 12.7 cm row spacing used on the I-1200. This combination allows for excellent pre-sowing preparation, thorough processing of crop residues, and effective weed control. The tine pressure is increased by 60% compared to Coil-Tech I, and the 55.88 cm diameter cutting discs allow deeper penetration into dense soil and more full use of the "jackhammer effect" compared to 50.8 cm diameter discs.
